Punishment for poor grades and sports

                 I believe there should be a punishment in sports for poor grades. If you grades are getting low and the excuse you have is because you are on a sports team, you should be suspended until your grades get higher. Many students use the excuse "I had practice last night and was to tired to do my homework." to get out of work, which results in grades being low due to assignments not being finished. If students who are suspended from sports because their grades are falling will not be able to have an excuse to not do homework. If you don't play a sport and you are not doing your homework or failing a class I think it's up to your parents to figure out a way to punish you.
