If a student has poor grades and doesn't participate in any sports they should stay after school and improve their grade by doing work. The student likely doesn't care about school nor their grade, and have nothing else to do after school.

Poor Grades
The student should get suspended from the sport the student is currently participating in if they don't have passing grades. They should be suspended from their sport and stay after school to work on their work. The school that is suspending the student is doing the him/her a huge favor, the school knows that this is the best for them. Pretend if a player is very devoted to playing their sport, but isn't very concerned with their school work, somebody else would work just as hard and still have good grades.
