Cameron Muniz- Loneliness

Most songs you hear about loneliness are softer and more hollow but the song I chose, Dancing With Myself by Billy Idol is an upbeat song about the positive side of being lonely. It is about having fun with yourself by dancing. This song is commonly portrayed in movies about loneliness. At first glance, this song doesn't seem like it means much but, some of the lyrics like "Well, there's nothing to lose and there's nothing to prove, I'll be dancing with myself" tell me that this song is poetically deep.  In conclusion, Dancing With Myself is a surprisingly symbolic song about being lonely and staying positive.
